Lead-free
Advanced technology is a valuable legacy in the future, but what is even more important for our descendants is a healthy environment. The use of lead can create harmful consequences. Lead contains toxic and carcinogenic material. Through rubbish dumps and groundwater they can find a way to our food supply.
The restriction of the use of lead in electronics 2002/95/EC set by the RoHS directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) was adopted in 2003 by the European Union. Closely linked to the WEEE (Waste from Electronic and Electrical Equipment) the RoHS directive took effect in 2006 in every member state. We are striving for a lead-free future.back to home
